Mrs. Antaya, 83, Resident Of City 55 Years, Pssses, Away
Mrs Marie Louise Antaya, age 83, a well known and highly respected resident of the city for the past 55 years, died last nite at her residence, 12 Spring st. She was the widow of John B. Antaya and a member of St. Joseph;s parish and the Ladies of St. Ann of that parish.
Mrs Antaya was kindly regarded throughout her neighborhood as a homemaker and devoted most of her time to her family which includes four sons, John and Adrian of this city, Albert of Ware and Joseph of Brooklyn; also four daughters, Miss Rose, Mrs. Wilfred Brousseau, Mrs. Charles Hager of this city and Mrs Raymond Green of Dunnelton Fla. There are also 22 grand children, and 20 Great grand children. a brother Alfred Pellisseir, also survives.
Deceaced was born in Canada, July 14, 1861, the daughter of Archille and Catherine (Richard) Pellissier. Mrs. Antaya and her late husband, lived in North Attleboro a short time before moving to this city. The furneral will be held from the family residence, 12 Spring St. at Monday morning at 8 o'clock, followed by a solemn requiem mass at St. Joseph's church at 8:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the St. Stephen's cemetery.
